Stay away from the pharmacy dept. by Rose S. at InsiderPages
As a store, Rite Aid is great. They have everything you need and pretty good sales sometimes. But stay away from this store's pharmacy department. I was trying to get diabetic testing supplies for the first time and my insurance didn't cover it. I didn't know it at the time though. I think the pharmacist should have known, but she told me they didn't have one of them and to come back the next day. The next day She told me they don't cover it. Why couldn't she tell me that the day before instead of making me make another trip, or at least call me before I got there? Then my daughter filled a prescription there, gave them her insurance card and everything, and they charged her the cash price. She's lucky she noticed that the price was high right after she left the store. They didn't even apologize and seemed annoyed that she came back and they had to correct it.
